ABOUT US

We support shoppers from all walks of life who may be looking for anything from simple basics to a new wardrobe by sourcing products from a wide variety of suppliers including clothing made from eco-friendly fabrics. Our expert advice and exceptional service continue a long tradition of personal care and attention.

Hi, we're Sue and Gerard, owner/operators of Stewarts Menswear, the biggest little menswear store in the biggest little town of Australia! Mullumbimby is located within the Byron Shire on the Northern Rivers of NSW. We are your local specialty menswear store, dressing the residents of Mullumbimby and surrounds for over 90 years!

We’ve always been owned and operated by local families and we aim to provide a friendly, personalised shopping experience.

We source our products from a wide range of both Australian and International brands that together provide a comprehensive choice for our customers.

Gerard has worked in the store for over 40 years, learning the ropes from 2 generations of the Stewart family. Sue is relatively new to the retail game, working in the store since 2004 when Gerard & Sue bought the business. Gerard & Sue love their community and enjoy being actively involved in the Mullumbimby Chamber of Commerce, sporting groups and Mullumbimby Agricultural Society.

Our goal at Stewart's is to accommodate everyone's taste and needs. As such Stewart’s now carry a wide range of attire; from men’s formal suits to work wear to fun surf gear and an ever-growing range of sustainable clothing and Australian made options.

We belong to a diverse and eclectic community so days in the shop are never dull. There is always something new and interesting happening in or around town that brings people; locals and tourists alike to the store. Mullumbimby is the place to be – an amazing place to grow up and live in.
